We were spread across three chalets, all hand built from eucalyptus wood cut down on the site, all of which had the most incredible views across the valley. About Us
Orugano Bwindi Lodge is a beautiful, eco-friendly lodge set on a hillside overlooking the famous Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. It is only a 10-minute walk from the Nkuringo Sector Park headquarters, making it the perfect place to stay for gorilla trekking. The lodge is surrounded by green forest and has amazing views of the volcanic Virunga Mountains. It is designed to blend with nature, giving guests a calm and peaceful escape in the heart of the jungle.
Each guest stays in a private cottage hidden among the trees. The cottages are spacious and cozy, with comfortable beds, hot showers, and large windows that look out over the forest.
Guests can enjoy tasty meals in the open dining area. The chefs prepare both local and international dishes using fresh, local ingredients. After a day of adventure, you can relax with guided forest walks, bird watching, or visits to nearby villages. Orugano Bwindi Lodge offers a special and unforgettable stay.
