To Nkuringo by Air
You can also use scheduled daily flights if arriving via Entebbe International Airport (EBB). You will then proceed to Kajjansi Airfield, and take a flight to Kisoro. The total flight time is about 2 hours, followed by a drive of around 2 hours to Orugano Lodge in the Nkuringo sector.
It is also possible to book a chartered helicopter to Bwindi. The helicopter will land you about 10 minutes from the lodge
To Nkuringo by Road
This is a scenic experience and you will capture many interesting moments of the countryside as well as wildlife along the way.
From Entebbe Airport in Kampala, this is a 10-hour drive to Nkuringo. In a 4×4 vehicle is required for this journey, especially during the rainy season. The last two hours to Nkuringo as bumpy but this will be compensated by the breathtaking views. Enjoy the journey
If you fly via Kigali Rwanda, it is a 5-hour journey to Orugano Lodge from Kigali airport to Rwanda. Once again a 4×4 road will be required especially for the two-hour off-road journey to Nkuringo.
